Filmmaking / Directing : Generation Gap by Shrirang Nargund

as a middle aged (44) filmmaker, I think whether my filmmaking is in tune with the current generation of viewers? how can we keep our filmmaking updated so the gen Y won't label it as outdated? This can be discussed from Creative as well as Technical point of view.
