My name is Denise Carey-Costa, I am an author and animal advocate rallying to raise funds to produce my documentary film "Tony's Tale Tragedy in Arizona" based on my book of the same name. "Tony's Tale" follows the journey of one family in the small town of Clifton, Arizona whose beloved dog Tony, a Pit Bull mix is wrongfully accused of a vicious attack and court ordered to be euthanized by a local Justice of the Peace in 2012. The case raised public outcry and showed the world the ugly side of our judicial system and how lives are lost and families destroyed when breed specific hysteria goes to far. The goal of this film is to do for Pit Bulls what "Blackfish" did for Orcas I will be working alongside producer/director Josh Mitchell on this film. Josh is best known for his recent film "Helen Keller had a Pit Bull" which was featured at this year's Sundance Film Festival. I need to raise funds to hire a top-notch crew, secure locations, and provide catering. I am offering the following incentives for those who make a significant donation: If you donate $300 - I will give you a signed copy of my "Tony's Tale Tragedy in Arizona. If you donate $600-I will give you an on screen acknowledgement/credit If you donate $1,000-I will give you a speaking role in the film If you donate $5000- I will list you as Executive Producer
