Greetings! I didn't even know I was in love with writing screenplays until my mother was dying of cancer. I needed something to help my stress of taking her as her progression worsen. I thought of this funny scene and it grew from there. It took me 7 years to come up with the name for the script FINDING HAPPINESS.She died at the end of 2011.
Tried to come back in 2013 in writing, but my nephew died and it just took me down a dark hole. 2015 I had the courage to try again and I did. I finally spoke to an agent in 2016 with one of my screenplays and it broke me for a bit as to PG friendly "it was trash." I wanted to quit, but I didn't.
Read over a thousand screenplays that year. I tremendously improved on my writing. I've made over 20+ screenplays since and still going. I had three screenplays stolen recently, and it does get rough but I can't stop. I'm not stopping because of my last mother was, "I'm going to make." or prove that agent wrong, it's to prove to myself it's what I live for.
