hey everyone.
my name is Ama, i'm a recently graduated student from Botswana residing in California, and I'm super excited to be apart of the community! I really hope to connect with other passionate creatives, especially other people of color and members of the LGTBQ+ community.
I've had my fair share of directing, videography, and photography, whether it be for long or short form content, narrative filmmaking, screenwriting, cinematography, as well as music production and a very, very small experience in songwriting. A lot of the projects I write on I plan on directing as well, which typically fall into (African) diasporic stories and folklore explored through the lenses of horror, thriller, romance, and drama. my standard(s) for horror film is Sinners, btw.
Any opportunity to help out, get on a set, receive feedback and just click and brainstorm with a diverse range of people is what I expect to get the most out of by joining Stage32. I look forward to meeting you all!
