Screenwriting : What is your outline process? by Robert DeVerger

I know that there isn't one hard rule of outlining a story, character arc etc, but I'm curious if anyone goes into writing as reckless as I? Of course a story always starts with an idea and then you must have at least 1 character, but after that, I just start writing. Most of my first drafts are so much rodomness, but then, I would through it all and start pulling out aspects of what I like and start creating my story from there. How do the rest of you come up with your ideas for your works?
