These days, people have shorter and shorter attention spans. It's important to hook them straight away and the best way is through an image.
I am a videographer, and it's my duty to transport the audience into a story. It's my passion, to be able to film moments that wouldn't be seen normally and would hopefully strike an emotional chord with viewers.
By enhancing stories visually and through the use of natural sound it will increase viewership. If they are intrigued by what they see, they will listen to the story. That's only the first step though.
Making sure there's clean audio is just as important, if not more, when it comes the telling of a story. I do think narration can help recounting a story, but personally it's the natural sound that turns "just a story" into a powerful story.
That being said, a majority of my work has been centered around news reporting and covering local events.
I have experience in filming live broadcasts. I was floor director, camera 2 operator, editor, and producer for MHK All Day. MHK All Day is a student run 30-minute news program that I personally edited together in post-production. Multi-tasking was a regular part of my day.
I'm highly motivated, creative, and versatile. I can write, film, and edit. When I start a project I stick with it to the finish and prefer to be involved through out the production process of a story. I'm proficient in using Adobe Creative Studio.
I'm seeking more real-word experience and it is my desire to take my quality of work to the next level. To be the best storyteller I can be. Just so you know, I'm up for new challenges and learning new equipment.
