About Mauro
Hello!
Graduated with a BA in Film, worked at New Line Cinema as a reader / assistant to the Head of Acquisitions. Written about 13 (I've lost count) feature length screenplays, a few one-hour pilots, and a stageplay. Wrote, directed, produced, and edited a feature comedy called The Pre-Drink, now streaming on Amazon Prime.
Had a literary agent out of NY for about a year signed off a screenplay I wrote about the true story of stealing the Mona Lisa.
I love all genres, and too many writers / directors to list here... okay I'll list a few: Fincher, DePalma, Tarantino, Jong Boon Ho, Scorsese, Wright, Kurosawa, anything Pixar, the list goes on and on.
I also love putting on other people's glasses and doing exaggerated impressions of them.
Unique traits: Comedy writing, dialogue writing, high concept stories, visual storytelling director.
