The mission of the ASA is to advance the creative and technical process of scoring visual media by bringing together composers, filmmakers, game developers, audio engineers and musicians to share knowledge through the production of educational programs and community events.

About the group
The Film, Music, and Media happy hour is a chance for composers, producers, directors, and creatives working in film, television, video games and other media to meet and mingle once a month in a casual setting. Free parking is available behind Busby’s East, and cheap parking is nearby. Come meet others in the entertainment industry at this monthly event! Hello guys, I am from Porto, Portugal (Europe) and in my country there are not this kind of events or "openness" of the industry to this kind of aproach. I am still a Cinema School student, but I would love to attend and to meet and be able to network with other creative people! Is there anyway I can join you? It just passed throug my mind the last episode of "Modern Family" and how Phil was able to be present! I would love to join you. Thank you very much.
