About the meetup
Guys we are all set to kick off our 9th and final "Meet Up" for the year 2015. 2016 should be bigger and better. I know we are all blessed to be so busy right now. It seems some of us are busy into next year. I hope that we have all benefited from the fellowship of the group and made some money, too. I scheduled the meeting on the 17th because "Star Wars" starts the next day and the Rack Focus had the days before booked up. I wish all of our members entered in the Rack Focus Premiere contest very good luck. I will be out there both days and look forward to the festivities. As a holiday treat for everyone, the first drink at the meet up is on me. I am proud to be among all of you hard working actors. Hope to see you all at the Meet Up.....
About the group
The first 'Stage 32' actors meet-up group serving Dallas and Ft.Worth actors and crew professionals in the area. Meet-ups with our group will help to find opportunities for our members and further the film industry in and outside of the Metroplex. We will maintain a listing of available talent in our group to support project casting and any emergency last minute film crews. Because how many times have we been on a shoot and ran out of background actors or no-shows? We will also try to share the wisdom of our histories on the set. The group may end up being the go to place for directors and casting agents to cast their projects. Please join us and let's see how big we can become together. We can also be a great opportunity to try that new play you've written or that screenplay which is begging to be produced. DFWART is starting, and if you are looking for a group such as this, please contact us. We will decide what would be the best times and places to have our meets when we get a few interested members. Thanks everyone for attending the meetup. A lot of new faces present and a lot of projects being planned for the new year. Handed out a couple of projects, and writers are gearing up for the next Rack Focus competition. We have the talent to be awesome this coming year. Lets get it going and make our mark on the industry. Dallas- Fort Worth's industry is getting better every year. We proved that with the Rack Focus Film Festival this week.
