About Miguel

Born in Madrid (Spain) in 1961, city where he actually lives.
After working for many year in television as film journalist and director, he made his directorial debut in 1991 with "The yellow fountain". After that, he directed "Love and other curiosities" in 2002 and "Blue days" in 2006. "Madrid, above the Moon" (2016) is his forth and latest film as writer and director.
He has a Master in Fine Arts and a Degree in Physics. He studied also Cinematography and Film Direction. Since 2009 he is Associate Professor on Film at the University Carlos III de Madrid.
