Mika Carten (they/them/theirs)

Mika Carten is the Cultural Executive at Breathe Entertainment Productions, LLC. Currently residing in Chicago, IL, Mika is an actor, writer, producer and drag artist. They specialize in cultural research as it fuels the integrity of storylines, plot intentionality and character development. Mika is the Head Producer for “The Breathe Entertainment Podcast” and co-created & starred in “Queerantine”. Mika made their professional acting debut in the Chicago Musical Theatre Festival 2015 as Baxter in “Fanatical”. Mika is passionate about stories that approach genre from an intersectional lens in order to produce media that more accurately reflects the world around us.
