Mike Green

I am a highly intuitive Writer/ Director/ Producer with over 15 years of experience in the film and television industry. My award-winning short films have screened at more than 100 festivals worldwide. In 2014, I was selected for MIFF’s Directors Lab, Accelerator.

In 2015, I served as Director’s Assistant to James Vanderbilt (Zodiac, The Amazing Spider-Man 1 & 2) on his directorial debut, Truth, starring Cate Blanchett and Robert Redford.

In 2016, Reversion, a horror screenplay I co-wrote, was runner-up in ScreenCraft’s Horror Screenplay Contest. Bojana Novakovic (I, Tonya, Westworld) is attached to the project.

My debut feature film, Outback, was released in the U.S. by Lionsgate and has sold to all major international territories. In Australia, it was released by Madman, with additional sales to Stan, Foxtel, and Network Seven. In 2023, Outback trended as the #3 film on Netflix.

I am currently in post-production on the horror short film Boyfiend, starring Olivia Deeble (Secret Society of Second-Born Royals, Home and Away) and Otis Dhanji (Talk to Me, Aquaman).
