Patrick Anderson

Hi.
My name is Patrick. My friends from the Bay Area know me as The Pat-Man.
I started out with my love & creation of music from participating in church choirs and then pursuing my interest further by joining the drum corp in grade school throughout high school. This was just before they removed art and music funding from public schools. I then transitioned into sampling and producing music with Casio and Yamaha keyboards. I have taken piano classes in college as well as a voice, vocals and music theory class, but mostly I play by ear. After the emergence of groups like Jodeci and BoysIIMen, I started my own a'capella quartet and then branched off on my own to sing with local jazz trios throughout the Bay Area. Good fun! After the frustrations of booking and scheduling studio times with different producers, I started to invest in my own production equipment. To date I have composed, written, recorded, played, & performed to over well over 4TB of music of all genres within the past 25 years combined.
I'm not sure how to describe my sound only to say that it's gotta be funky, jazzy, soulful, with a touch of church and old-school rock & roll.
I'm heavily inspired by the early sounds of gospel, 60's rock & roll, jazz, 70's r & b and church music to include Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Billy Preston, Andre Crouch, Prince, Herbie Hancock, Lou Rawls & the MFSB Orchestra, Barry White, Quincy Jones, Teddy Riley, and Dr. Dre.
I have worked with several professionals in the industry of which I have learned a great deal about production, composing, orchestration, music theory, mixing & mastering, engineering, etc....and are super proud to have worked with REAL PROs!!

Currently I'm archiving and sorting through files to pull out my greatest hits for my project: The Intelligent Human Voice Podcast Network----my multimedia studio of a 216 track digital studio, with the capabilities to create whatever sound and voice-over production I wish. This podcast network is an idea I received many years later from memories of my childhood watching a low budget cable network called Soul Beat. IN 2018 the technology is advanced enough for everyone to have their own network and or podcast shows and channels. There is no such thing as competition but only a coming together of creative minds and talents alike. Together with transparency we can do great things or not. You must believe.
