Ryan Murphy has been heading for a camera since he was a small boy. His fascination with behind the scenes trickery, and movie magic guided him as he grew. After graduation he had a few minor positions that chipped away at his ideals, helping him to discover his passion and direction. He discovered an aptitude for film making, which landed him his first job. He worked as a production apprentice at Grave Robber Studios creating a wide variety of sculptures and other practical effect designs. Later he was able to develop a dynamic repertoire of crafting abilities that would not only influence, but help him to define his new-found ambitions.
With numerous man hours left on the studio floor, Ryan began to venture away from the confines of his workshop, to discover his true joy. The lights, sounds, and energy of the set cast its magic on him again. This time the amazed wonderment of a child was replaced with the focused intrigue of a craftsman. The excitement in his eyes was combustible. From speed to rolling, action, cut, print had his hands ever touched the camera in front of him it would remain there to this day.
With a passion finally defined, Ryan began his lessons at Colorado Media School in January of 2014. With unmatched enthusiasm, he excels at his lessons and leaves intrigue in his wake at every turn. With a charming wit, He finds joy in every moment working. With his custom designed and built computer, Final Cut, and the Adobe suite at his fingertips. His upcoming work remains promising.
