Because of Covid 19 life has changed a lot. The lockdown has brought up a question for inspiring stories and movies for people at home.
I pitched at stage32 a story that is on my mind for years. It was very inspiring to read a great review on the pitch. Now it is time to find the right format. I did like the Marco Polo Netflix series. But I liked Outlander too, because it has the spiritual touch.
That's what people need nowadays!!
I did write a novel on it. Now transforming it into a screenplay.

In short:
A woman who is vlogging about medieval history, slowly becomes part of a mysterious story. She loves trees. She visualizes trees to get in a special state of mind.
Guilhaume d'Orange/Guilhem de Gellone, my maincharacter, is 'a person in between'. (like so many of us in daily life)
Writing this story the question rose: What would I have done, being a vassal of 'The Father of Europe', Charlemagne? A most mighty ruler, who wants to wipe out all memory on worshipping trees. Especially the way the Saxons worship trees. But Guilhaume has Jewish influences in his upbringing. He loves the tree of life. So is he the man to help the emperor? He had just decided to become a monk!
What kind of monk will such a great warrior have been? Would he follow the ascetic rule of his neighbour, the abbott of Aniane? Or has there been women in his life, just because he did not believe in the new Aniane rules? Would a woman have played an important role in regard to his heritage?
Why has there been such special attention for him in the today medieval museum The Cloisters New York?
After a fire in his Gellone monastery (year 1060) suddenly the world changed.
I'm working very hard to transform my new novel into a moviescript.
