About Patricia

From the age of 2, I knew what I wanted to be.

On a tyre swing, sitting outside my kindy, conversing with two large men, talking business (must be said with a New York mafia accent), whilst smoking a cigar. Not a real one of course but the scenario was real enough for me.

I started out as an extra with agencies, Background Talent & Fresh Talent. All the while searching for every opportunity to grow which then led to theatre. From that day my career...I want to say, took off, but for others that means something different than it does to me.

Having a career 'take off' for some, means being discovered over night. Having a career 'take off' for me means doing something that I love.

I love almost everything about acting. Maybe not the business side of things but the playing side, I love.

That process of looking at a character, pulling it apart, dissecting it; triggers and emotions, discovering what lies beyond the words and the actions. Bringing words in a script to life.

I truly think that if I were in a perpetual state of auditions and rehearsals, I would be ecstatically happy

It's my favourite part of the whole process. And I get to do that almost every day!

It is my bliss.
