Hey all! I've been writing off and on about 5-6 years now. I took a Masters class in Film writing, and now i realize everything I've written ( and currently write ) is shlock! How do i become a better writer? What has helped you? When should i realize I'm not meant to be a screenwriter? Before or after I've burned my house down? Thanks :) -CJ

It seems like you've already learned what is bad writing so now you should know how to improve your writing. Try to get people to review your work, as many as possible and then review other people's work and if you have the opportunity, try to read other people's reviews on other people's work. All of this is immensely helpful. When should you realize that you're not meant to be a screenwriter? If you're ready to give up then you shouldn't be a screenwriter.
