Mini slugs

Hi, I have several questions on mini slugs, and their uses. For exterior scenes, such as a freeway, can weI have car scene headers as mini slugs? If yes, should they be in the INT./EXT. form or just the car's brand name. Can there be intercutting between two mini slugs (Two cars for example). The last question concerning mini slugs are for inside scenes. Can we have a mini slug for an apartment in a building, and also have a room in that apartment , then switch to the building hallways or other apartments in that building, all in mini slug form, without any confusion? I appreciate your help

A common practice would be to start out with the scene either as an EXT or INT... followed by the opposite and then in CAPS write INTERCUT.... after the slugline. That clues the reader that the Exterior and Interior properties of the scenes will alternate in accordance to the director's interpretation. Also if you cut away, to a third scene, but the action is on-going you can use CONTINUOUS at the end of the slugline. I hope that helps.

I appreciate your help. But I didn't understand the part concerning the scene header with INT. or EXT. followed by the opposite. I would appreciate it if you could give me an example. Thank you.

Hi, Thank you very much for your help. I understand what you mean. What I've done in this kind of situation is to write INT./EXT. A CAR - DAY, then do the same with another car, then write intercut - CAR#1/CAR#2 before proceeding with action lines.
