Traditional African Films-Nollywood

Could there possibly be new film aesthetics especially with regards to cinematography ( framing, composition and all that goes into mise en scene) in Nollywood traditional filmmaking? Again dialogue and somewhat lengthy lines are typical especially in Igbo language films...Chinua Achebe says that proverbs are the oil with which words (conversation) is eaten. How does this compare with the brevity of words in Hollywood films?
