We feature guests to help both seasoned and first time filmmakers learn from other industry professionals. Our shows cover one of four topics: Writing, Funding, Shooting and Selling a fewture film. I have had about 3 projects get as far as preproduction, but still am very frustrated to have not completed a feature film yet. One of the reasons I started the IFA was to try and educate myself about topics I didn't know much about, like the business end of filmmaking. Funding, legal, distribution and budgeting were a complete mystery to me. So most of my early guests have been experts in those fields.
