Hello! My name is Maggie Kaszuba and I am graduating this May with a film degree and an entertainment management minor. Though I am in college I have already been working as a freelance production assistant for over a year (I wanted to start early) and I have a few things post graduation going for me. Patiently waiting to see if I advanced to phase 3 of the DGA AD training program and the completion of my first self produced film that raised 5,000 on kickstarter. Incase these things don't take off or I get the dreaded news that I have not advanced, I am really searching for an AD mentor. I love talking about film, and I have such a passion for it. I would love to share my knowledge but also gain a lot of knowledge from someone who's been there and done it for many years. I appreciate everyones time it was nice meeting you all! Thank you!

First of all, congratulations on getting the $5k raise on Kickstarter - that's great! Second, congrats on your first self-produced film! That's an amazing accomplishment. Third, you should definitely network with Joe Bohn here on Stage 32 - tell him that the Stage 32 staff sent you over :) Here's a blog he wrote - https://www.stage32.com/blog/1st-AD-THEORY-THOUGHT-AND-PRACTICE Finally, I want to offer some advice and recommend filling out your profile here with your work, photos, your reel, trailer for your film, links, etc. so when you network people will know more about you as a professional. I went to check out your profile and nothing was on there.
