Timing? Fate? Right (write) livelihood? Ah...embracing the concept that there's a world filled with awesome humanity at my fintertips........

....honestly, I'm so novice-newbie for this mindset of "internet networking," I, Tom Hayden, writing from Eugene, OR, attempting to jettison from the confines of Sketchbooks and Journals and one-on-one emails (over decades-worth now between diaper-changes), I do feel a bit apprehensive almost bashful. But, that persona (long shelved yet still a naïve part of me) sure will not propel me forward, eh... ...to the place(s) where I may participate with like-minded creatives, channel my creative insights and talent and devotion to become...what, what do I want to become among many things, a self-sufficient, published author (with 7 projects of various genre & artwork on the 'boards'), a stand-up philosopher, a voice amplifying...humanity, and elementally a good resource designing for the dynamics of human behavior....an excellent parent...or a relatively competent golfer...such a list of sorts...always with a keen eye toward the next images discovered from blank canvases and perhaps a segue into the intricately revealing eyes of camera following a rolling eyebrow to forehead crinkles and gaze pan askew. And, I go by "Mot!" The coiffure alone dictates that moniker. Ah, yes, I'm hoping to become part of this community, which is an huge "baby-step" for me (ya'd be surprised) like my wrestling with this new laptop that steers like projectile vomiting compared to the PC-stations and such of years ago and even really missing my typewriter from days before that as well. Eerie, right. So, I'm here, checking-in with my fellow milieu, and please be mindful of my vertical learning-curve, basically socializing again with anyone over the age of zero to five (though parenting IS a hoot) and writing into the perceivable void with a gentle tap on the window pane and clearing my nervous vocals, "Hi. It's me, like always," were I selling candles in seventh grade...then with an "Hey, Mot!" greeting from old friends of mine would say and hope to hear again and read and read and read. I'll read all of you here...become steadfast friend, too, as you see fit. Always, "Mot." P.S. "So, how was that intro.?"

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Unsure whether or not protocol dictates a "network request." Guess I'll figure in time...and now, time for lunch. hahaha.

Since you inquired: jalapeno hummus on a garlic basil parmesan bread w/ sardines in mustard sauce. "motel-grunge dish" while reading "help" and "getting started" sections of this site. Just don't know what I'm doing....hence the accurate self-assessment as "novice-newbie" benefits of being off-line for a fare shake of time (can one even imagine that). Ah, so Canada, eh? Walleye opens 24 May +/-. There in 2002. Float plane, wilderness, etc. Awesome (for that kind of thing). Still, I could order a pizza and have it delivered...by train...for hundreds I'm sure and didn't do it. Happy with the fish, the snowing...just like being in Oregon at elevation lakes. haha.
