What are my chances?

Hi everyone, I'm a screenplay writer from Nigeria, living in Nigeria and trying to get a deal for a recently completed script of mine titled Black Knight and the Dragon in Hollywood or say anywhere outside Nigeria. To aid my success, I did a consultation on the script, and recently pitched it through stage 32 happy writers pitch feast to lions gate, on Tuesday, April 14. Since I didn't hear back from Joey or the executive I pitched to, I decided to share my experience so far and try to find out what I might be missing. I started my journey as a screenplay writer officially in 2006, and got a break in 2010 or so to put it, because the film titled Arugba, directed and produced by the renowned Nigerian film maker Tunde Kelani was written by me and my boss then, with some other projects, but since I was paid for the job, I wasn't given any credit for it. The same experience goes for other scripts I've written and sold to producers here on my own. I decided to change my fortunes by turning to the outside world and learning their standard way of writing scripts. I spent time and money acquiring this, then I set out to see how far I can go. I remember entering the American screenplay competition twice and didn't make it through the 1st round. I got discouraged from entering into competitions. Now for more than 5years, I've been searching for a break through, which I hope getting here at stage 32, a community I joined last year. I'm currently thinking of raising money to pay for the happy writer's coverage service but before I go ahead I need to know what my chances are selling a script to a producer/film or production companies, as a Nigerian, living in Nigeria, because, I'm thinking that maybe because I'm living abroad or the Nigerian factor is depriving me of a chance. For few weeks now, I've been searching for an answer to this question. I even mailed the owner of this community, R.B Botto and Joey Tuccio himself, but didn't get any reply. still wondering why? But I hope by posting this on the lounge, maybe I might find that answer that will help me turn to the right direction. Counting so much on your response. Thank you all.

Well, selling to Hollywood is crazy hard for anyone, no matter where you're from. One would assume that it's harder the farther you get from Los Angeles, and the US... I'm sure if you posted your script here on Stage32 you might get some peer feedback as well. If the script needs work, I know there are plenty of folks on this site who will tell you so for free. :)
