I think what Namyalo means to say is: Welcome to Stage 32, Jeremy! ;) If you are looking to build your connections locally, I would highly recommend visiting the Connect section of Stage 32 and tailoring the search to your needs. You can find that by going to the white toolbar at the top of your screen (in between Blog and Invite). You can also search the Meetups section of the site to see if there is a meetup going on in your area (if not, feel free to start your own!). This is also available on that same white toolbar. Hi Jeremy, welcome to stage32. I just asked the same question - about searching members by other parameters than their name - like location or profession in the sections 'ask stage32'. So far, I think there is no way to find members in certain areas or professions. Good luck for your summer project!

Hi Elisabeth - if you look on the Connect page, there should be fields within the search that say "Search by Location" and "Search by Profession." If you haven't had a chance yet, definitely check out the Help and Getting Started sections, available at the top right of your screen under "Help."
