Introduce Yourself : New member from Finland! by Kaisla Pirkkalainen

I´m very excited to join this terrific group. I copy paste my introduction from my profile. I am very open to all actions aim to make good theatre, develop theatre practice, theatre training, and share knowledge. I am also looking for methodological discussions. Ten years experience from being artistic leader, actor and director of Laboratorytheatre Fennica, Finland, has created strong profession of working in theatre, producing and teaching it. I am a specialist of teaching theatre practice (teaching actors). I have done practice based research and developed methodology for theatre practice for twenty years. My work has grown from Grotowski`s, Barba´s and Teatterilaboratorio ECS´s work, where I have studied and thought for several years. That work and training was following ISTA´s principles. My current research title is "Theatre practice as the Manifestation of Performance". I have lead few EU-projects. Right now I coordinate Culture Kiosk (Kulttuurikiska) project, which is moving theatre and street kitchen. Homepage in Finnish is www.kulttuurikiska.weebly.com.
