Introduce Yourself : I am a Film / Video producer based in LA by Kristian Van Der Heyden

Currently I am working on... a film essay about punk in Indonesia, A Punk Daydream or Lamunan Oi! I moved to Los Angeles five years ago from Belgium and started working on American productions, from commercials to short films, winning some awards here and there. Now I am moving towards producing more feature films, with access to some of Belgium`s finest film incentives. I am an excellent line producer and accountant but also a creative. I took an MFA with me, specialized in film and contemporary arts. My dream is to work on any genre film that has something profound to say about the human condition. Some directors I look up to are Stanley Kubrick, Harmony Korine, Thomas Vinterberg & Lars Von Trier.
