Introduce Yourself : Hello from a geeky actress and blogger in Pittsburgh, originally from the midwest. by April May Ohms

I moved to Pittsburgh in the early 2000s and started working in the community theatre around town. What a great area for theatre! I started working with local films through the 48 Hour Film Festival and Carnegie Screenwriters and did some background work on several "Hollywood" films. I enjoy film and theatre and try to mix them up to keep myself interested and keep up the skills. I am a krav maga practictioner and a school teacher. I like history, French, art and science. Science Fiction is my favorite genre when I write or read. I participated in NaNoWriMo in 2015 and hope to do better in 2016. My novel is in the works. I like to describe myself as a "Renaissance Woman" who can do and does many things. I have 2 kids who are finally old enough to participate in their own projects. My son is a writer and my daughter is a painter. I started a blog about geeky stuff in the 'burgh.
