Introduce Yourself : Greetings from Singapore by Michael Chua

I have just completed a feature film, called "Certified Dead", as its lead character, that will premiere in August 2016, at the 4th Etheria Film Festival, to be held in the Egyptian Museum in Hollywood. This movie is produced and directed by Marrie Lee (aka Cleopatra Wong) in Singapore. I have been very blessed that over the last five years, I have been cast in over 250 productions, including being in the main cast of three other feature films; and 2 short films that went viral with over 20 million online hits. Some of the films I have acted in have also won awards in international film festivals, including "ilo ilo", which won handsomely in Cannes, The Golden Horse, and several others in 2014. I have also won the Best Performance Awards in the 3rd and 5th Singapore Short Film Awards (2012 & 2015). My prime reason for acting is to partake in stories worth telling to make a positive change to society. As such, I have now made my foray also into producing, directing and writing films. To date, I have delivered two short films and have a few other scripts awaiting production, including a feature film which is already peer reviewed and storyboarded.
