Good evening everyone, I've been working on a rewrite to a screenplay that I completed last year and am honestly a bit lost. It's a comedy but I don't know if it's all coming together well. Is there anyone out there who wouldn't mind giving a peer review ? It's unfinished because I don't know if I should start a new rewrite or take the whole thing back to formula. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I hear you, Sheldon. Doing a Page One can be daunting...you kind of feel like you are drowning. I highly suggest creating a Board and mapping it out (see my pics for ideas). Also, take time to delve much deeper into your main character, his or her deepest themes and motivations. Doing this first ensures your re-write is CHARACTER-DRIVEN, and has a common theme that runs throughout the story. With the Board, you do not have to follow the Save The Cat rules for timing of specific plot points, but it helps. Sorry I can not do a script swap. Hope this helps!
Thank you Sarah, I appreciate you responding and will definitely take your pointers to heart.
