So I'm currently in post-production on a 5 min short film, and I'm aiming to get some sort of digital distribution. I'd love for a popular media/journalism site to pick it up, like the Culture Desk of the New Yorker for example http://www.newyorker.com/culture/culture-desk/for-your-consideration-pin... Anyone have ideas on how to go about this? Has anyone tried approaching these new media/journalism companies (like HuffPost, Buzzfeed, NYT). Also I'd love to make some money off of this, so I can go back and pay my cast & crew who were all volunteers. P.S. I'm looking for a Producer to help me figure all this out if you're interested!
