Entertainment Lawyer's fee ( USA)

Is 5% of gross entertainment income is an industry standard in USA for an attorney's services?

For example you are writing a feature movies script that you then sell to a studio or production company and

you need a legal services "looking over a contract", etc. How much you would pay?

Many thanks for sharing!

To my understanding most charge hourly, same as any lawyer. Some will charge a flat fee to negotiate a particular deal.

any idea of the price per hour? thanks

5% is the norm for an entertainment attorney in Hollywood. The big boys won't even talk hourly, and you don't want an hourly employee negotiating a six or seven figure deal.
