Hi guys,
Lots to take in at this year's SXSW. Still trying to process all things I saw and heard at the festival. I had the chance to do coverage at the festival for my nsavides podcast and got to speak to a number of filmmakers there. We discussed filmmaking techniques, highlights from the festival, and some of the big ideas that keep us up at night.
This episode includes interviews with an Emmy-winning documentarian who worked with Alex Gibney on her latest project, a New York Times best-selling author, and a filmmaker who won an award at this year's festival. Plus, film critic and historian Leonard Maltin shares some of the things that stuck out for him at SXSW, and a rep from Hive Lighting demos a new light that the company introduced at the festival: http://podcast.nsavides.com/SXSW2017a
I will have additional SXSW coverage coming out soon, so stay tuned if that's of interest. Anything SXSW related that you'd like me to cover in future episodes? Would be glad to hear about it. Leave a comment or shoot me a message, and I'll explore.
