Introduce Yourself : Half- and full-cycles by Elnaser Abdelwahab

I am a poet and writer in Arabic, German and English (with published work in both Arabic and German). I invented what i call half- and full-cycle exercises in which a poem in one language is transformed into another and then brought back to form a variation of the original. Half- and full- cycle exercises have been already applied to Rilke poems resulting in some Arabic and German counterparts. The idea of forming such variations of artistic work and connecting them together in one piece can also be applied to theater and movie. This is what interests me now.
