Hello you fine folks of Stage 32. My name is B. Todd, I'm an actor, writer, and now producer in NYC. I started my career ages ago as an actor, and started writing just after undergrad, and was officially mentored in screenwriting in grad school (although I graduated with MFA in Performing Arts). As an actor who is rarely received I decided to make my own luck and started writing and producing films for myself to star in and cast super talented friends to come along with me. I more or less specialize in areas of diverse storytelling and trying to shine spotlights on characters usually pushed towards the periphery.
My first film "Black N' Blue" is a short covering the chaos of racial profiling, and the injustice of police brutality. My second film "Brexistential" is currently raising funds (via Indiegogo) and is a comedy about an American actor who decides to try his luck at faking a British personae to work as an Actor in America... something I'm sure we can all laugh about here. Anyways, I just joined Stage32 yesterday. I'm looking forward to meeting and collaborating with many of you hopefully in the future. It takes a village and it seems I just found the biggest one. Thanks for having me!
