Hello fellow filmmakers. I am looking into Director representation for myself and feel that I am ready in my career to take the next step. I have been doing research but I always prefer hearing from people first hand, so please, any information on this topic is greatly appreciated. Specifically, now that my reel is completed, what is my next step?

Without seeing your demo reel, I suggest that you just focus on continuing to make great content and put it out for the world to see. With you’ll be able to momentous that, which will be what you want, or less likely, have an agent or manager reach out to you directly and want to rep you. Even them, you are still relying on someone else to further benefit your situation, whether that be creative or financial. Just trying to give me $.02.
