I'm looking for collaborators who are local to the Los Angeles/Orange County area and who have knowledge of localities and possibly help find a place for cheap to build the set of the interior of a gas station (the store), along with furniture etc. Such collaborator would be given a reasonable compensation and 'Associate Producer' credit. Besides helping with this set, he will also be a creative contributor for the project, making the effort well worth it.
A little background about me and the project: I live in the Orange County area of California. Movie lover every since I knew, I developed a passion for story telling and filmmaking in my teens. Wrote a short story series, made a few short films and now I'm ready with a feature film script. I'm going to self fund this part South Indian - part American film at 25% and raise funds externally for the rest of 75%. While the budget is still in works, I anticipate it to cost roughly around 65,000 USD for the first copy. A supporting actor whose debut collected around 8 Million USD will be playing the lead role. Rest all will be new faces. Around 60% of the movie will be shot in the US and rest will be in India. The part that will be shot in the US will all be inside a gas station store.
