Hey there! Just joined Stage 32, my is Zanin (Zay-nin) but most call me Z. I'm a freelance videographer and filmmaker based in the Bronx.
I had recently got my Associates in Media and Digital Film Program at Bronx Community College. I served as president of the BCC film club for two years and was awarded the first ever Sol Negrin Memorial Award, sponsored by the IASTE Local 600 International Cinematographers Guild. During the 25th Annual Bronx Community College Film and Video Festival, my film Antithesis won First Place and was also awarded the Chairsperson's Award and the Peter J. Rondinone Memorial Award.
Outside of school I have worked on various short and feature length projects from indie to industry. Had the chance to work on Jessica Jones as a Set Dresser with Local 52 and worked as a PA on The Greatest Showman and Gotham. My goal is to eventually join Local 600 and work my way up from Camera Assistant to Operator.
Most of my experience as a videographer came from producing content for companies like Big Review TV and ZayZay.com. With summer here, I’m hoping to get more experience and work within the Camera Dept. as well as network with fellow filmmakers and possibly collaborate on projects.
