hi…Namaste.. This is Shivakumar BVR, Started my career in the year of 1999 as a VFX artist @ Prasad EFX, and later on transformed my profession to as a DI COLORIST in 2008. I have done color grading more than 300 films till now. ARUNDHATHI, MAGADHEERA, EEGA, DRISHYAM (Malayalam), ABA (simhalam) VAAGAI SOODAVA (Tamil), RANGITARANGA (Kannada), BAAHUBALI 1&2 etc... are the best acclaimed projects in my career. Also done grading BAAHUBALI for Chinese and Japanese Language too. Now I’m with Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad, INDIA. as a Senior Colorist in Baseligjht 5.1 in 4K pipeline.
Now My upcoming project is called “R R R” by Indian Epic film BAAHUBALI team.
I have honoured with a title called “VAARNA VAACHASPATHI” its a English meaning of “KING OF COLORS” given by Creative plannet 2018, Mumbai, India.
Being a colorist I had directed a short film called GURUKULAM-THE SCHOOL, which was won 19 international awards globally. The directional skills which helps me to analyse character emotion or the dominant mood of a film.

Welcome! I find color to be one of the most rewarding parts of filmmaking! It can change the whole look and feel of a film.
