I produced and co=produced over 600 hours of media at a public access media center in Asheville, NC from October 2007 until May 2011. Then local government denied the funds to silence the people exposing the corruption in local government. I wrote a Civil rights lawsuit pro se, that I took to the Supreme Court. One month after it was dismissed an investigation into one of the defendants was announced. The former County manager has now been indicted on over 100 counts and 4 other former Buncombe County officials have also been charged . Public access is an important 1st Amendment platform in local communities, that I continue to try and get reinstated in Western North Carolina.
