Introduce Yourself : Janice L. Walker, Screenwriter, Filmmaker, Producer by Janice L. Walker

Greetings all, my name is Janice L. Walker, and I completed my first faith-based feature, "The First TIme For Penny." She won 12 first place awards in film festivals and 23 awards and recognitions in total in 2017 and 2018. Prior to producing that feature, I decided to write and produce a short film, per one of the Stage 32 webinars. I wrote "Always Hope," on July 7th, and to date, it has been selected for 3 film festivals and won Best Short Script in one so far. Always Hope will be a one-day shoot and shot on Sunday, August 25th. If anyone wants to volunteer and will be in the Cincinnati area on August 25th and wants to pitch in on the set in any way or be an extra walking down the street, let me know. Also, looking for a DP who has shot several short films with a iPhone and has used drones, I am looking for a DP. Reach out to me. Cheers.
