Hey everyone, I'm nearing completion on a feature film I'm producing and just wondering if anyone has ever produced their own project and approached exec or associate producers at the stage I'm at (i.e. not at development or production stage but during post-production). What should I be offering to these producers to attract them to the project? A financial return? A simple name in the credits? We're actually LIVE on Kickstarter now so looking to craft appealing rewards along these lines. Thanks!

Offer them money or a title, but also have a marketing plan so they can see how you plan to see this project through to distribution. Could you be specific about what kinds of producers you are looking for?
Thanks Tasneem, very helpful to hear your thoughts. We're looking for one or more Associate or Exec Producers who can 1) bring/find us a small amount of capital to get us over the finish line of our post-production, and 2) connect us with any sales agents/distributors they may have connections with. If they can only offer 1) we will be continuing with our plan to establish relationships with sales agents/distributors at festivals and through direct approaches with our finished film. so usually if someone is working to get you money, you will need to make it worth their while (money and a title), put out an ad here and keep promoting that you are looking on as many platforms ( a simple scripted post and be re-used) try to talk to producers here on stage 32 (email and posts) and ask them for advice and maybe one of them might just get you where you need to be.
