'Expect Delays' has been the story of my life in this business, doing some acting as a child, then a decade's break after my parents' split, then another decade gap because of an inability to exit the corporate world, then another due to the blessing of having two beautiful, healthy children, but the loss of family members.
So here I am at middle age, looking to learn -- and exchange ideas -- about how to contribute in some way to this thing of ours. At this point, having lost my good looks, I'm largely interested in the writing side of things - being at the table or collaborating with others. Don't get me wrong, if there's a role for a fat dad/John Cusack-type, I'm there, but it's the writing that has most interested me in the last decade or so as I've grown to really appreciate good novels, screenplays, tv scripts, tweets, and even fortune cookies.
