Kevin Evangelista (Voice Actor & Writer) - Hello everyone!

Hello everyone! It's so great to be here.

My name is Kevin Evangelista. I live in and am currently based in Manila, Philippines. I'm a voice actor, actor, screenwriter, and playwright who's getting his feet wet in all these fields and the industry in general. Most of my experience comes from college-related workshops and classes, although I'm a part of some voice acting groups in the Philippines and have landed a (small) professional role already.

I'm mainly here to learn, to network, to build my portfolio and expertise, and to just grow in general. I'm really grateful a place like this exists where fellow creatives and people from around the industry can just connect and help each other. I'm also looking for work (and growth) mainly as a voice actor and scriptwriter right now. I'm looking forward to getting to know people. Thank you!

Great to have you here from the Philippines Kevin! Congrats on your professional role, that's wonderful. You're in the right place here in the Stage 32 community and we're glad to have you here!

G'Day and Mabuhay, Kevin! I'm half-Filipino and a screenwriter from San Francisco. Glad you're staying productive. Let's hope we can get past the Covid-19 crisis so production can resume. I'm now working with my nephew in Finland on a project about my father's experiences in WW2: "Escape From Bataan". We're excited, which is a good place to be!

Hey Wayne! That's awesome! Can't wait to hopefully someday see it, hahaha. You're right, the crisis has put a damper on a lot of possible projects and avenues, but not all of them haha. That's why I'm focusing on voice acting right now. It's not only something I do really wanna grow in, but it's something you don't really need to leave the house for hahaha :) nice to meet you! Hope we can somehow work together on something someday!

Wayne Mathias

Aloha Kevin! Given how long it took to get a big film into production even in pre-Covid times, I'm optimistic that we can get "Escape From Bataan" made just when the industry is ready for big live-action films. So till then, keep at it. We'll need a lot of young men to play the soldiers!
