Logline Drafts for "A Quiet Place"

Bryan Woods and Scott Beck: "Five years ago today, we were kicking around loglines in order to submit A QUIET PLACE to producers. Writing loglines requires a talent we clearly don’t possess. But we're so grateful for the life this film has had..."

Option 2

J Hillard

I concur.

Here's how the logline is written on IMDb: "In a post-apocalyptic world, a family is forced to live in silence while hiding from monsters with ultra-sensitive hearing."

Kiril Maksimoski

Actually all they had to do is be noisy as hell...but hey...no-one's perfect ;)

... That isn't too bad. What makes option 2 good is that it tells us there will be no help from outside. As we know, having read the script, there can be no help anyway, because there simply are no humans left to help.
