Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Lorilea. I am a practicing clinician, a nurse practitioner. I have a doctorate degree and technically I am Dr. Lorilea Johnson, FNP-BC, DNP, but please... just call me Lorilea. I get fits of the giggles when people call me Dr. Johnson. My purpose for joining this group is I would like to become a screenwriter for medical education purposes. I would like to write scripts of scenarios and procedures to train doctors and nurses. I'm here to learn! I want to read scripts. Especially any with a medical them.
PS: Is a logline written as a concept for a script or when the script is completed? Sorry if that is a silly question.
Hi, Lorilea Johnson. Nice to meet you. A logline can be written before you write the script. The logline might help you stay on track as you write the script (it helps me). The logline can also be used when you pitch the script.
