Hello writing people - I've been on Stage 32 for a few years but never really used. it other than to read what other people were up to. I started off as writer by writing a short film, which we took to the Cannes Film Festival in 2004 (1st year of the Short Film Corner) great fun. Since then I've written mostly stage plays but I've now moved on to novels as they are easier to finance yourself! I've used the opportunity to have a script report by a producer which I found really useful. and good value. I think that Stage 32 is a very helpful tool to the indie writer, filmmaker and producer. It's definitely providing access and changing the way scripts (and I hope actors) are commissioned.. No, longer do you have to be part of a dynasty or have insider contacts to reach out to the studios. Merry Christmas everyone and a successful 2022 obviously!
