Hi! My name is Lisa and I just joined this community. I'm always so impressed and delighted when I discover communities like these exist! I am a single mom living in Canada and recently left medical administration to pursue my love of all things related to the writing world. I recently wrote a Picture Book that I am trying to get published or find representation but I'm not sure whether that is the correct path for me so I am thrilled to be able to connect, seek advice and commiserate with other like minded people about reading, writing, story telling, editing, publishing, agents, etc.

It’s about a girl who is afraid to go outside so she builds herself a house of hats. Then one day she runs out of yarn and has to decide if it’s worth leaving her comfort zone.
