When I was like 10, I became obsessed with the written word. I read every sports paper I could find, every sports book the bookmobile had, and read accounts of games from across the world. I fell in love with the written word. As rimes have progressed and my career in journalism blossomed, I gained a talent for visual storytelling, photojournalism, videography, and now script writing. I wrote my first script when I was a homesick young soldier on a Virginia Army base.
Of course it was terrible! I laugh at how godawful it really is. Thankfully, I moved on from that turd (if you every really move on =from a story that burns in your mind for so many years). I learned formatted, act structure, story elements, character development plot development and watched one billion hours of really bad movies and TV.
So, that brings me here... I am rejuvenated by my latest project and I am very excited to push it forward as far as it will take me. I've known about the screenwriter dream for more than 20 years now (from afar), and have always known I have some stories in this brain of mine. I look forward to networking with everyone and please, if you need a word of encouragement I have literally made every mistake out there so don't sweat it. Learn and grow.
My project is called DEAD PORN STAR: When the Fight is Over, the Fight Has Just Begun. It takes place in the bawdry world of pro hockey as told through the (blackened) eyes of a hockey enforcer who watches the woke mob cancel him and his sport right before his very eyes. It's registered and available for review. If you love sports-action movies with a certain ribbon of Slapshot! winding through, this is a fun story. Promise.
Auf Wiedersehen ...
Thank you!
