Just want to say hi and introduce myself. The Canadian Rockies are hip deep in snow so it's time to snuggle in with coffee and write another script. Why does everything start out a rom com or sci fi or drama and end up a psycho thriller? Seriously need to refine my technique. Hmm. Bigfoot stalks the lone snowed in script writer, looking for Kokannee beer. Oh great. A comedy slash horror.

Lol! I wonder if we all typed in a line what we might come up with. Still it's fun when the first draft flows. Hammering it into something worthy afterward can be a challenge tho.
Rewriting is challenging sometimes. Sometimes when I rewrite a script, the characters and story take a different direction [than originally planned] and the story ends up being better. When I fix a problem during rewrites, I think to myself, "That would've been so embarrassing if I sent the script out without fixing that part."
