Finished full length film

Hey everyone. I just did a film tat me an my best friend directed/wrote/ filmed and funded solely on your own. I feel honored to be apart of a large production. Id love for everyone to check it out and give me your honest opinion. the good the bad the ugly. I already hate the way I walk in the film. It already seams so unnatural, what was I thinking? lol If you would like to comment and rate it on IMDb that was be super!! thanks in advance!! I can't wait to hear what you guys think.

First, congratulations on completing your film! It takes so much patience and resiliency to complete ANY film, much less one that lasts an hour! You should be exceedingly proud of that!

Second, yes, there will be PLENTY to learn from, but maybe you can set it up with Frame.io or Vimeo so viewers can make timecode comments? With a piece this long, timecode comments will make it easier for viewers to want to give specific notes.

Have your cast and crew seen it? You could start with them - maybe an online viewing party followed by a Google Form for anonymous comments? Could be fun!

Congrats on your film completion - I would suggest you do a 2-3 minute trailer of the film to get people interested in it, I would have a screening party/event for the entire cast and crew before you let others watch it on youtube, get there reactions and suggestions. But ultimately it is your story and if you are happy with it, this is all that matters.

Your film is right now too long to watch online for people who are not vested it in.

I was bored and had no idea what the story was about after 5 minutes - I would suggest re-editing the opening and not sure why you have the production companies' names twice. The Sci-fi special effects were amazing. Best of luck!

Oh wow! Congrats Kat Lehto that's such an awesome feat to accomplish! I saw the trailer and the scene of the lady running away in from the guy in the black shirt outside was a bit weird to me. Maybe it wasn't a run and more a brisk walk, I don't know, just stood up strangely to me, and I couldn't tell what the movie was about in the trailer.

Also, I'm curious to learn how the film was funded!

Hi the film was funded by me and my co producer Lizelle. This was 100% a passion project we directed, write, filmed and produced ourselves. We say its low budget but its really no budgets as everyone worked for free or dirt cheap. I'm so great full for everyone involved and I would recommend anyone that works on the production. We had such an amazing team behind it who really did this out of the kindness of their heart. Every views, like, comment and IMDb rating is for them. This is my first big film and it so so long to go from an idea to being completed. I know its not perfect and you definitely see the amateur ness of myself in terms of promotion and everything i was involved in. Big shout out to our Editor Vasilios and our FX artist Kevin for working months on end to make this happen.
